本文以w666金属拱型波纹屋顶为研究对象，沿用王小平博士的简化计算模型，对18m 、 30m跨波纹拱两端不同支座形式(铰支、固支和弹性支座)分别利用有限元计算程序sap93进行计算分析，研究波纹拱在不同跨度，不同支座形式下，不同外荷载作用时对该结构受力性能及稳定承载力的影响，同时分析下部支承钢柱、钢筋混凝土柱的刚度变化体现为允许支座位移的大小与结构受力性能及稳定承载力之间的关系。
